The landscape—inspired by the expanse of Tuscany—is not rendered naturalistically, but transformed into a clear geometric order in mosaic fashion. Houses in the foreground appear as coloured rectangles, stable and rhythmically placed. Behind them, trees rise as circles and vertical forms, abstracted into pure fields of colour. An open zone invites the gaze and creates space to breathe, before the eye is drawn into the upper portion of the composition.
There a stylised sky unfolds, reduced to luminous fields of colour. The sun—a radiant white—stands at the golden ratio and forms the still centre of the composition. From it, yellows and ochres flow into warm brown nuances.
The landscape is less a concrete place than a state: the pause of a day, translated into geometric clarity. The order of forms mirrors the order of the moment—everything seems to stand in right proportion, carried by the warm light of the sinking day.
