Land’s End
Dark land pushes into the sea.
A narrow tip of brown and black, streaked with light ochre.
The water breaks on the shore.
White spray gathers on the rocks and on the crests of the moving waves.
The sky hangs heavy over the coast, clouds drift low – but between them, blue still opens up.
This is where the land ends. And beyond it begins the vastness of the sea.
