Grief

Grief is an emotion that takes shape without being fully tangible.
A face emerges from a dense red surface. Dark lines gather to form eyes, a mouth, traces of hair. Not clear, not certain – more like an expression that forms from the colour itself.
Dark lines hint at eyes, mouth and hair – not clearly drawn, more felt than seen.
Around it lie fields of ochre, blue, green and white – calm, expansive, almost like a space of memories.
They keep their distance, as if aware of the gravity of this centre.
Grief has no clear face here. And yet, for a moment, it seems to become visible.
