Blue Hour

It is not yet completely dark, but the streetlights are already clearly visible – a time between day and night when the world seems quieter for a moment. The painting “Blue Hour” is carried by a deep, calm blue tone that fills the entire picture space and captures this special atmosphere.
In the foreground, organic shapes consisting of ovals, semicircles and curved lines break through the calm colour field. In bright shades of orange, yellow and white, they stand out against the cool blue and appear like traces of light in the space. Between coolness and warmth, calm and movement, the impression of a fleeting transition is created – a moment in which light and colour enter into dialogue with each other.
