Big Curiosity
I peer over the edge of my blanket with wide eyes and let a little piece of the world in. Behind me, everything feels soft and familiar; in front of me, it’s new and a little big. I venture a little further anyway, because I feel that someone is watching over me and will catch me if I get scared. I am tingling with curiosity, and at the same time I am warmed by the quiet certainty that I can crawl back into safety at any time. So I take my tiny step forward – courageously, because my invisible, secure bond supports me.
