Window

In the centre of the image, a white area opens up, framed by a blue border. This border appears shifted and distorted – as if the perspective were tilting or changing at the moment of viewing. The blue intensifies towards the top to a dark turquoise, while the lines deliberately deviate from strict symmetry.
A broad grey stripe enters the picture from the right. Beneath it, a triangle opens up, its deep dark blue edges enclosing a light blue centre. This light area is reminiscent of a view of the sky – fragmentary, framed, almost ethereal.
“Window” plays with perception and space. It does not show a real window, but rather the idea of an opening: a view that is both limited and shifted. Perspective, frame and surface are in tension with each other – between inside and outside, limitation and expanse.
