Standing in the south of the North Frisian island of Amrum, approximately 2 km west of Wittdün atop the 25-meter-high Great Dune, this lighthouse remains one of the island’s most iconic landmarks.
The work captures the profound peace of a still night. As the final embers of sunlight stain the sky a deep crimson, the tower emerges from the shadows beneath its beacon. The light itself radiates a sense of security and steadfast hope.
