Against a turquoise-blue sky and a turbulent sea with white-foaming spray, two stylized sails appear. The full, bulging shapes – reminiscent of gennakers – powerfully billow in the wind that catches the sails. The boats themselves remain invisible; only the sails are seen, as if moving detachedly over water and horizon.
The absence of the hulls focuses the gaze entirely on the dynamism of the forms and the energy of the wind. The sails act as symbols of movement: taut, carried, and yet light.
