Woman in Blue
I stand motionless in front of the wall. The ivy grows incessantly, as if unaware of the weight resting on my shoulders. Sometimes I envy it for its direction, for its quiet trust in the world.
My dress shimmers in a fading blue—elegant and understated at the same time. It reflects the narrow path I walk in a world that expects a lot from women but rarely allows them to stand in the spotlight themselves. And yet, behind all the glitz and glamour, I allow myself to show my own unique facets time and again.
